Food service at breakfast was not good.
the views of coast are great, the staff and food were both very good. I am travelling from australia and this was a more luxurious hotel for me and I did enjoy that! The young staff members were lovely and people very friendly. This is appreciated when one is travellihng alone.
No lift which does make it hard with luggage.
Faultess. Room spotless, staff very helpful, food excellent. Will recommend and certainly use in the future.
Good location, lovely setting, close to the beach and Charlestown, a beautiful old fishing village. Choose the hotel as it was very near to teh Eden Project
Room 45 has a very ill fitted door, which rattled all night so I didn't get much sleep.
The Hotel was very Clean and staff very wellcoming
I have stayed in 4 Hotels in Devon and Cornwall in the past 6 Weeks on Business , My wife as also been stayed with Me I left a completed Questionnaire in my Hotel at the Cliff head which complained about the meal we had there. We had baked Cod which was dreadfull it was overcooked and mostly Skin it was placed on some potato wedges which was soggy and not very nice , without a doubt this meal was one of the worst meals my wife and I have had ,to call it a- la -Carte really was not correct ???? We have stayed in Best Western Hotels in the past few years and they were Ok The Both of us were very dissapointed, Regards James Hughes
Good price, included breakfast. All up cheaper than Travel inn/Lodge and had 'life' which lodges don't have. Helpful staff. quiet location and plenty of parking.
Could have been more choice at breakfast. Didn't seem to be much for veggies or continental breakfast types (didn't bother me but might bother them), may be consequence of catering for coach parties as well as public.
The overall comfort and convenience were the most satisfactory aspects. Nothing was particularly outstanding but everything was above average
An amazing stay for 3 nights. Thank you very much to all the Staff at the Hotel who made our stay memorable. We will come back again and again.
Choice menu at the restaurant should have been a little larger.
It's location in relationship with the Edne Project is the only good thing about this hotel.
The bedroom had no window only a rooflight. The sauna and changing rooms for the pool were closed, the pool remained covered during our stay. The sheets were stained. The shower had very poor pressure and could only achieve a heat which was 'luke warm'.
Excellent reception staff and comfortable bed
Buffet breakfast on Sundays could be warmer
We had 2 meals in the restaurant and they were superb. Also the pool was great as very few places in the U.k appear to have pools. Also I must mention the desk staff -they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was a problem.
Our only problem was it's location as we didn't have a car and was relying on public transport. This wasn't a problem on saturday but on Sunday there was no bus service at all-i guess most people would be driving so this wouldn't be a problem for most.
Room was fit for purpose
Staff rather surly Restaurant menu ok but not great Waitress serving the wine, didn't open the bottle, thought it was a screw top, it wasn't. Took it away to open it. Didn't offer to pour some for tasting.
Excellent location and great service and outstanding value.
Breakfast was very good
Room 44 water running down curtains bathroom extremely small to many glass shelves nearly had to back out of bathroom to wipe my bum. Television hopeless to small and sound very bad. Room would be ok for two dwarves. Pool was not open sad hotel but the staff are first class
The hotel has a very good situation near to the sea - we had seaview rooms. Clean & well kept - big parking lot - just a pity that the weather was so typically english.
Dining room staff not the most efficient.
